Lorna has worked at the 'high end' of the photographic industry for over thirty years. Coming into the business at an early age from an arts background, she learnt her craft in London working alongside some of Britain's leading photographers.
Leaving London and relocating to her native Devon she established her studio; dispelling the tired and staid image of social photography, she pioneered the reportage approach in her bridal work and applied her clean, graphic eye to the commercial field...her unique style has been widely emulated.
In 2008 she established Bang Wallop in Salcombe, a unique photographic venue encompassing a gallery, shop, photography school and studios.
Now in her early 50s she is still focused on her photographic work, creating beautiful images for her social and commercial clients. Lorna offers training in her, now famous, ‘non-nerdy’ one to one and group sessions. She is also studying to develop her skills as a ‘maker’ of “beautiful things”; this new venture will incorporate her photography.
Lorna works from her home, shoots on location and at her Studio in the South Hams, Devon.
